Hi Peter, this is the first time I have acquired a Japanese porcelain with Ming Jiajing mark, The Plate is 24.765 cm wide and sits 3.038 cm high, it is from the Taisho period 1913 - 1926 and was made in Arita, I purchased a whole set of 13 all signed the same way with the same decoration, they are all hand painted. your opinion is appreciated thanks.

That is a Ming, Wanli mark, not Jiajing.
Anyway, usually I see only Chenghua marks, a first for me too...and it is a very typical Japanese decoration having the mark.

Thanks for correcting me on the Jiajing mark, they are very similar at least for me.
