Marking on this printed plate?

Hi everyone,

I picked up this plate at the thrift store for a couple pennies.

The decor is obviously printed but the marking drew my attention.
I've never seen this one before.
It looks like a Western 'I'.

Is this a shop mark?
If it would be, why would anyone put his shop mark on a printed plate?

It could pe a ? (jade) mark. But as this is printed it is not an antique.
