I have recently bought these two plates, 18 cm diameter ca.
They are not yet in my hands; I got some pictures from the vendor.
My feeling is that they should be 19th century.
I would like to get a more precise period: could they be Tongzhi or late 19th or early 20th?
Thank you,
Adriano.

These are usually Jiaqing-Daoguang period, earlier than you seem to think.

Hi All,
I would like to put another question.
I notes by chance that the plates of same 18 cm diameter have very different weights.
Plate no. 1: 358 gr., major thickness and foot rim with some grains.
Plate no. 2: 304 gr. and smooth foot rim.
Could it be that they are not of the same period, different kiln?
Thank you for comments.

Items from Canton were painted in the foreign factories, but fired by the same kiln in Canton, as far as I know. That is the second firing. The bodies were originally made in Jingdezhen and the fired blanks transported to Canton for painting.
These should be about Daoguang reign. Different weights are always possible with different batches.
If you upload pictures of the marks I could try to read them.

Adriano

Thank you Peter,
here are the marks.

Hi Adriano, I can't read the upper mark, it looks like a private mark. The lower one seems to be a Daoguang reign mark.
