Vase identification?

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a Vase I have recently came across. Not sure if it's a real or fake?

What is real and what is fake?
It is a real vase with a Chinese motif, late 20th century or 21st. Colors used cannot be new, neither does the painting style. It could be printed. Judging by the characters it might not even be Chinese.
