Marking identification

Hi! I am trying to identify this marking, but it doesn't look to be Ming or Ching, any idea? Thanks

Despite the Chinese motif it is probably Japanese. The mark and especially the single ring along the foot rim speak for that. Items with this mark are found in Japan, but the origin seems mostly unclear.  I found a batch of tea ware items with this mark and the pot was clearly of a Japanese shape.
