I need assistance with the signature at the bottom and if someone could also tell me what the symbolism is of the objects on the sides.

I can't read the mark but the crosses look like a Christian symbol representing Jesus Christ crucified for sinners.

For better evaluation you should upload a good picture of the bottom, and interior. And provide dimensions, please.
I got the impression that it could be Japanese, but further inspection may be needed.

The bowl measures 3" high and 5" rim to rim, 16" around. Hope these two new pictures help.

Well, the bottom also looks Japanese to me, perhaps copying some Chinese decorative elements. Could be a small censer without lid.
The mark is  "?????" . The first two characters could be read "Hirayasu", if it is a family name. The other two could be a personal name?
However, reading of Japanese (characters) names is different depending on whether it is a person's name, place name, etc.
