It is recommended to avoid such items for the time being. Even experts cannot necessarily tell fake from authentic antiques when it comes to monochromes. With pictures it is even more difficult, because there are too few points of reference to check.

Just one thing, if this was authentic it would have a fairly high price, as it would be imperial ware.
