Chinese? Mark indentification

My mother had this vase given to her on her 90th by a distant relative, we are now sorting stuff out as she is in a care home and emptied and sold her flat and just wanted to know is the mark real or a copy as we can't find any information on it at all

Marks do not mean that much as most marks are auspicious, the decoration, shape, age signs are more important, if they check out and the mark then the mark would be worth mentioning, I could not find this mark in my books, but the foot looks 20th century and the mark looks like someone did not know how to write Chinese, but I am not an expert, that is just an educated guess.

As I thought, id mark not that helpful, so the vase shown here probably not worth that much.

Yes I would say from the 60's or 80's,
