Republic landscape scene plaque

I think these items are difficult to date, the style looks like this could be from the republic period. Some wear at the top of the plaque, overall looks like good quality. What do you think?

Definitely republic period with that size.  Cannot read the painter's name due to handwriting. Possibly Wang ??.  There is no cyclical year.
