My grand aunt died and in her last will she gave us her porcelain set. I know nothing about this kind of stuff. But would like to know what is it. I don?t even know if it really Chinese or not. I just don?t think it will be too old as it is a standard cups with handles and from what I think I know old Chinese were using bowls more. But again. I?m the greenest greenhorn when it comes to Chinese pottery...
Still I hope you could tell me. Just to know how careful I need to be when cleaning around it.

Thanks for all info

This is a Japanese tea set, probably around the 40's but not sure. Stan knows more about this type of stuff. Kutani?

The mark is illegible, and the bottom is from a later period, 2nd half or later.
