Peter, if this is a bottom box, why the top rim is prominent? In stacked boxes this feature is usually seen in the top box.

The lid should fit into the top, so that it cannot slide off without lifting. If that is right, that is all there is. Unless we see the other boxes, we cannot know how the top rim was made with the others.
The stacked boxes I know mostly have no glazed rim, and all boxes are the same. I have seen some with the bottom box having a foot rim like this one. However, the others should all be the same, interchangeable, glazed or not.
