old nice Lamp. How old?

This is a lamp I found for sale. The lamp itself was probably made (assembled)  in the 1940s. I have asked the owner for more pictures and I will upload them here once I get them. Can you help me to estimate its age?

The painted people's faces look as if they were late 20th century.
