Hello,

this vase seems to be made in very good quality, but I can not judge, how old it is.

19th or 20th century ?

this is a 20th century item probably from the second half. I don't even know that it may actually be a Satsuma vase. it is probably a Chinese imitation Satsuma vase because of the decoration.

Thank you heavenguy.

I have seem some similar pieces. They were made in late meiji and the decoration was called karako (chinese children).
May be, this one can be one of these pieces.

This is a Japanese Satsuma style that you find in the 1st half of the 20th century, this one looks like 1st quarter to me, it should be earthenware and have a crackle glaze with an ivory like color for the ground color.

That`s right, the ground is ivory colored and crackled.

I forgot to tell, that I bought it yesterday and I am happy, that I was right.
