Rose Medallion China Set (I think)

Happy New Year!  I'd love any information that you all can share concerning a set of china I recently received that belonged to my grandmother.  I appreciate the festive nature of the set which I believe to be in the Rose Medallion pattern but would like to know if it is older (antique) or more modern export set...I'm thinking the later due to the completeness of the set (12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, 12 bowls, 10 teacups, 12 saucers, serving platters/bowls, tea set etc).  Regardless of age, I'll enjoy the set but it might make a difference if I break it out for dinner with kids or keep more on display only in cabinet plus I'm just curious in general.  I estimate that my grandmother purchased the set about 30 years ago, she paid a nominal amount as part of unclaimed freight and purchased contents unknown but that's all I know of the history.  Thanks much.

Hi, yes those are rose medallion plates.
The pictures are much too small to judge age. Would need close up (partial) pictures of decoration, shape, foot rim, etc. to evaluate colors, age signs, and other details.

Is the rim turned down? If yes, then this is not a traditional shape. These plates were made through most of the 19th and 20th centuries, so it depends on the details from when they could be.
Most of the older ones either had no mark or an English mark.

Hi, I hoped to see the foot rim, because that is the most important thing to look at for age evaluation.
The painting style and colors, including the gilt seem to be still early 20th century. However, the support rib near the mark, on the bottom is something not usually found on antique porcelain.
The mark is probably ???? (Made by Huaxin factory) -- factory mark I do not know.
As this would basically be Canton enamel, I cannot tell for sure from when or where this was made.
The rib seems to point to 20th century, the enamel and colors to early 20th, but this rose medallion plate may not have been in Canton (Guangzhou) if it was painted in the 20th century.
Maybe someone else knows this mark. Such enamels were later also painted in Hong Kong and Macao.

You have been very good to attempt to shed some light on this china and I hope to produce a better set of pictures later.  The only plates with the rib are the large serving platters but I too had never seen those before. Foot it is - thanks.  I may just need to take it to someone in person to try and evaluate history so if you know of a good resource or any type of credentials I should seek that would be helpful too.  I live in SWFL, not exactly the antique hub of the world.  Best to you.
