The two terms above indicate the same type of glaze. These terms relate to an essentially white glaze, which has a light greenish or bluish hue overall or only in recesses and crevices. These colors become mainly visible where the vitreous layer is relatively thick because of the accumulated glaze. Elsewhere on the surface the glaze appears just white.
With a pure, white glaze the recesses remain white no matter how thick the glaze is.

Yingqing was an early term used in Chinese literature for this type of glaze, but nowadays "qingbai" is mostly used for this type of glaze.
