chinese small plate, I know there are many fakes, but could this one a real, hand wrote mark and painting  any idea ?

peterp

Apocryphal mark on modern item. Not really a fake ...
Hand-written marks don't look this way.

manny

Hi peterp what don you mean by apocryphal mark ? do you know witch period is the mark ? or do you want to see much closer picture ? I'm sure it's had writing and painting

peterp

Apocryphal means 'fake', or not of the period. The Qianlong mark would be 18th century.

So are you sure this plate is not old ? how sure are you ?

manny

but the problem is, I take this pictures from a window, that display it and a label beside it, say it's genuine  in a well known auction house .

You do not seem to understand the meaning of this, I'm afraid. Nobody says this is a fake, just that it is relatively recent made. It is not possible to see with these pictures, whether the decoration is actually printed or hand painted. But is sure is from the 20th century (or later) and has an apocryphal Qianlong mark that looks as if it were printed. Wherever this is from, it remains the same. I would suggest you get a second opinion.
