I have had this porcelain figure for a while. I believe it to be Kannon, the Japanese version of Guanyin. It is about 18 inches tall. There is nothing left of the base as it was drilled for a lamp at one point. I was under the belief it was a kutani type porcelain from the late 19th or early 20th Century.

Please post a picture of the back and bottom, thanks.

I can get a picture of the back and bottom in a few days. This is at my parents' house. The bottom was broken out and filled with plaster, so the original bottom is no longer there.

Hi Bokaba, you should get a hands on inspection at a high end auction house, it is free, this looks like it could be very old but I am not that experienced in figurines, my feeling is that it is 19th century and the fact that it has been repaired and altered takes from the collectability, but I would still get a hands on inspection just the same.
