Please do not point links to commercial websites, incl. auction houses. Museums,research and educational institutions should be fine. We want to avoid giving the impression that we endorse a specific business or item.
Unfortunately, in today's antique market even otherwise reliable businesses may occasionally have a non-authentic item on display.
(Ebay and similar auction sites are especially problematic due to many fakes.)

Remark:
Reliable, non-commercial sites on the internet should be sufficient in numbers to allow searching for specific items. These can include those related to archaeology (including shipwreck archaeology), museum and other research sites. Some information is also available in academic websites.
