unmarked porcelain

Would you be able to point me in the right direction to research this?  There is no mark on the bottom.  Just a bit of  something white that must have been brushed on the bottom rim, or foot. Thank you

Take my input with a pinch of salt.
To my inexperienced eye looks very modern.

This would be called a double gourd, Calder is right, it is modern, maybe 10 to 20 years old, I believe it is Chinese.
