Trying to find out what the marks on the bottom of this cup mean.
Thank you.

Did look at the marks information which is very much appreciated.  Unclear about what the mark indicates about its age since marks appear to have a different meaning. Thank you for the information pages.

Hi it reports to be Guangxu mark 1875-1908.

Stan

Your pictures are much to blurry, but from what I can see, the design looks modern to me, if it was from that period the detail would have been much more detailed, and the colors would be transparent, and depending on the size it looks like a small bowl, if you could send better pictures of the bottom and close up pictures of the foot rim and of the decoration that would be great, thanks.

Yes, it is not the best picture. The detail of the decoration, color detail,  wearing of the gilt don't show. Will try to find a better way to take a better photograph. Thank you.

Still not that good of a picture. But, perhaps, a small bit better.

Stan

These are better pictures but they are still blurry, clear pictures of the mark and decoration,

There ARE bowls with this decoration made in the late Qing dynasty. But with these pictures it is impossible to check if this one could be authentic.

Stan

If it is authentic it would be a valuable item.
