This spoon must be a serving spoon.  It is too large to be a personal spoon, I think.  I am wondering about the age.  Ir has many age signs but I am not sure.

Looks Japanese... Probably a Spoon holder. The paint looks over glaze So I don't think its a good idea to eat from there. Looks fairly modern in my opinion butI could be wrong.

That is a Chinese style spoon. Difficult to tell where made, but yes, it looks very new.
