Artemisia mark??? Qing ginger Jar?

Hello everyone,

I found this really neat vase with an Artemisia mark on the bottom. Is it late Qing??? If so It's probably missing the lid. If it had a lid, will it be made out of wood or porcelain too. Also one more question if possible. What type of flower may that be?

Judging by its shape this ginger jar could be about mid-Qing dynasty.

Hi Peterp,

I was looking that the earliest is Kangxi and the latest could be Jiaqing. Most of the reference images I found online that reference the shape correspond to Kangxi but for the design is mostly Qianlong. Also do you know if they kept on using the Artemisia mark on other eras??? thank you for your response

Your dating is probably correct. The leaf mark appears to appear only infrequently as an apocryphal mark in the late Qing dynasty. I based my assumption on shape too. BTW, here mid-Qing is usually Yongzheng to Jiaqing.
