Teapot

Saw this at the local antique mall. Could not take pictures of the bottom.
As you can see from the photos it comes with a cutout from a newspaper  I don't know if the article is about the exactly same teapot ( looks different to me on the picture) or the dealer just thought it is the same one. Either way, I don't see any zisha clay here. The enameling and the decoration don't look very Chinese to me either.
Any thoughts? Is that the name of the artist in the red characters?

Probably Japanese. Not sure if it says Nabeshima, but the first character looks like "Nabe".

There is nothing on this teapot that resembles Nabeshima, Items related to Nebshima ware was decorated with a higher quality, unless it is modern, there is nothing in my books that resemble the marks or design, could be a studio mark, but I agree with Peter it looks Japanese, Maybe someone else can help.
