Chinese pot with lid republic.

Hi Peter, this is another pot that I have no idea what it was used for, the bottom has six holes and the lid has four slots for maybe to tie it on, I don't know, nor could I find anything on the marks, the lid bottom and the pot bottom both have  marks, could you tell me what the marks say and how old do you think this is  and what the characters say, thanks for all your help, the pot with the lid is 12.32 cm tall and 13.97 cm wide, it is a drum shape, I am posting 18 photo's because these are very detailed.

Stan, I cannot read this mark, there is no cyclical date or name, as far as I can see. Otherwise, judging by the bottom this is a more recent item. My personal opinion.
